Vehicle overview:Hi here from my personal collection is a 1992 Honda CD250U-K air cooled 250cc 4-stroke twin-cylinder 5-speed manual motorcycle. Very good quality classic lightweight motorcycle from Honda. A lovely example of this bike with an added twist. the bike is completely original and standard.  This bike is in good condition for its year and has only covered 18134 miles. The bike starts on the button and rides really well. faultless in fact and has plenty of power. I have given this bike a good clean and polish and touched up some of the marks and rust scabs.  Engine has not been messed with and is in standard form. Original Honda exhaust system still clean.  Sold with a new 12 month TAX disc* and a new 12 months MOT so can be ridden away! Comes with keys. new 12 months MOT certificate. new 12 month TAX disc*. four previous MOT certificates. full V5 registration and full purchase receipt.

Overall condition (1 being for spares. 20 being showroom as new condition) :13. Good condition for its year. Has been used and has age related wear and tear (see photos and watch the video). Very good example of this bike. Very good engine with clean solid Honda exhaust system fitted.  

Mechanical condition: Very good. has been well looked after. starts first press of the electric start button. Good battery fitted. 250cc 4-stroke air-cooled twin cylinder twin carburettor engine. Plenty of power. idles very nicely. very nippy off the mark and has plenty of usable power. will happily get to 70mph+. No leaks at all. Manual choke as standard working fine. Speedo and mileometer working fine. Engine starts easily and runs very well. Very good engine.

Cosmetic condition: Ok for its age. Has age related marks. scratches and rust scabs to mudguards but has nothing that needs attention. Please view the photos and watch the video. Seat cover is good. Wheel rims are very clean! Exhaust system is also clean and solid

Electrics :Everything works. no faults to report.

Test run: Runs and rides nicely. faultless considering it's age. Will happily sit at 70MPH. Pulls cleanly and strongly. Runs and rides superb! Handles great and sounds awesome with the twin exhaust system (see video).

Brakes:Good working order. Disk brake at the front and predictable drum brake at the rear.

Suspension:Good working order front and back.  

Tires:Both tires are good. front tyre has approx 70% tred remaining and the rear tyre has approx 60% tred remaining.

MOT? : This motorcycle will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS MOT post auction end.

TAX? :This is my motorcycle and will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS TAX DISC post auction end*.

*- As of 1st October 2014 if the buyer wishes to take advantage of having a new 12 months TAX disc included in the sale then it will be their responsibility to make the sure the bike is insured from the agreed day that the seller will arrange to TAX it from otherwise the bike will be sold untaxed with no reduction of the sale price.

Could I get this bike delivered? :Yes. Delivery option at 90p per mile one way to cover the cost of fuel up to 150 miles from WR14 at quoted by AA Route planner. If I am delivering this bike I require a non-refundable deposit of ??100 via paypal within 48 hours of the end of this auction.

All bike sold as seen and from my personal collection. I cannot give you an honest answer on issues with regard to the bike's prior history. as it has not been my bike from new. I can however. share my opinion as to its appearance and mechanical condition. I always test-ride and inspect all my bikes very carefully prior to listing them.
