Honda XLR250R 1988 Red

Just in time for a spot of green laning!

Bought a year ago but never used so it's time to look at buying a sports bike instead!

Everything works but it's not a cosmetic beauty so don't expect a minter!

First registered in UK 01/12/1997 but V5 says declared manufactured 1988. (I'd guess that this was meant originally for the Japanese home market).

Recent. new MOT as of September 2014.  

(No road tax ref. new rules in effect 01/10/2014).

Frame Prefix MD20.

Engine Prefix MD17E.

Mileage equivalent = 19. 59 (Speedo reads 30. 14 KM - but not guaranteed).

Recently fitted with road legal Michelin AC-10 tyres.

Recent chain and sprocket kit.

New rear indicators.

Metal tank.

There is a small split on the right side of the seat and there may be others under the black tape  but I've never investigated.

The headlight works but the shroud is split and is held together with tape. For this reason. I will throw in the black 'Alien' twin headlight unit free of charge (it will need to be wired in and affixed).

Collection preferred but courier OK after fully cleared funds received.
