cbr900 fireblade

here we have for sale my cbr900 fireblade for spares or repairs. the reason for spares or repairs is because of the following reasons. the fuel pump stopped working last year so have disconnected it and using gravity fed and works fine so long as you keep an eye on the fuel level and keep it above a quarter full. other reasons are the engine casing on one side is all scratched from it falling over and the rear quarter panel has a crack and scratch on it. the fan switch has been bypassed with a toggle switch. owner before me did it as a running repair when he was on the road and never bothered getting it done. there are a few issues that also need looking into and these are the tyres are very close to the limit. it is not a standard exhaust but is not to load in my opinion. one of the fork seals is starting to weep slightly. the seat is not the original colour. carbs may need cleaning or setting up as it had a slight splutter when i took it out yesterday for a run. but i have not been out on it for a long time. it has 11 months MOT. 5 months TAX. complete oil and filter change using fully synthetic oil. new front and rear brake pads. apart from its issues. it still has enough power in it to put a smile on your face when you open it up. it is one of the early fireblades so should only go up in price. genuine reason for sale as i will no longer be riding bikes (time catches us all up eventually)any questions or you want to come and view bike. please make contact through eBay.
