For sale is my Honda Hornet CB600F2 in blue with only 24800 miles on the clock. The hornets are well known for their bullet proof engines and reliability. Bike is in good condition for the year and runs very well. Its recently had a lot of work done on it but I have now got another bike which I can commute in on so no longer need her. Ideal for someone looking for a cheap commuter or first big bike?
Non Standard Features- R&G crash bungs- Smartwater marked (certificate included)- Remus Evolution exhaust which is less than 2 years old and costs over £200 new. - Scorpion chrome radiator cover- Givi screen (not fitted to bike at present but included in sale)Work recently done:- New rear tyre after puncture (August)- New rear honda brake pads (August)- New EBC rear brake disc (August)- Brake fluid flushed and changed (August)- New air filter (August)- Coolant flushed and changed (July)- Oil change (February)
Included in the sale:- Haynes manual- New genuine Honda front brake pads (£45)- 4x new iridium spark plugs (£40)- New can of Profi fuel max carb cleaner (got it on discount but not used on bike)
Bad points:- On the handlebars are bits of the chrome finish have corroded (shown in pictures)- There is a dent on the side of the radiator where a stripped screw was removed- Small dent in tank (shown in pictures)- Within the next 1000 miles I recon the front brake pads could do with a change. I have already bought these (genuine honda) and will include them in the sale. - The bike was knocked by a reversing car. There was no damage other than the clutch lever & rear indicator getting caught. The level has been replaced by an original Honda lever and the indicator is just a little wonky. Cost about £15 for a new one if you want to replace. The bars are straight.
V5 present. HPI clear. Long MOT (expires 13th March 2015) and Tax. Viewing welcome but need own insurance to take for a ride. Cash payment please.
