Honda Goldwing GL1100 Aspencade

For auction is my GL1100 Aspencade.  I have too many projects. and not enough time. so unfortunately. this one has got to go.  The bike was imported from the USA in 1996 and is probably a 1983 bike. although DVLA seem to think that it was 1982 from the registration suffix.  Unless the Americans had the Aspencades before we did in the UK?At the time. the Goldwing 1100 was the flagship tourer - one that almost everyone looked up to.  The Aspencade took that high level of refinement just that one step higher - two tone paintwork and upholstery. on board air compressor to adjust the front and rear suspension. twin piston calipers (the original 1100s were single piston). removable radio and intercom. This bike has recently been serviced and starts at the touch of the button. and runs just as it should!Everything that is electrical seems to work just right - including the radio and the compressor. It should also be noted that everything operates from the one key - ignition. dummy tank. top box and pannier locks. top box release. helmet locks and radio release - an indication that everything is as it was when new!The tyres both have good tread depth.  The battery is less than a year old.  My next job would have been to look at the rear brake as it is binding slightly. Also included with the bike is a truckload of chrome goodies. front fender. eagle on mudguard. front disc covers. windscreen wiper on the decorated screen. grill covers. chrome indicator covers. plug lead covers. inlet manifold covers. airscoop beneath radiator. engine side panels. rider floorboards. pillion floorboards. rails around panniers. top box and pannier top rails. cruise pegs. rider back rest. exhaust extensions - a considerable amount of extras have been added!. The bike is over 30 years old. but overall. is very presentable.  With a little work. and a polishing cloth over the winter months. this will be a Goldwing that will attract crowds. and one to be proud of.  It also has less than 30. 00 miles showing on the clock. as shown in one of the photographs. Please note - there is no MOT. and the bike is on a SORN declaration.  Therefore you will need to collect it on a trailer.  I would consider transporting to you for the cost of my fuel. and payment for everything in advance.  I do have the V5 registration document. and it is in my name. There is no buy it now price.  I do not intend doing a buy it now. Good luck!
