Honda MBX 125 Learner Legal 2 stroke **listing updated & reduced price **

Hi. you are bidding on a Honda MBX 125 learner legal 2 stroke. I bought this about 6 months ago in pieces and I have put it back together. with lots of new bits and ws going to use it as my commuter. but following a track day I have the bug for a sports bike and so this and my CX500 are up for sale.

Flew through MOT no advisories. it was a 40 mile round trip to get it to the MOT garage and the bike went like stink. as with all two strokes it needs the revs up to really go well. and it REALLY GOES WELL on the flat it was doing 60+ (it had more in it but didn't want to thrash it) Even up hill it would pull 50!!!!!!! Not bad for a 125!

I have put braided lines on it. it has had a refurbished front brake caliper. new pads and brake shoes. lots of new electrics including ignition switch. new fork seals and oil. new fuel tank. new rear tyre. carb refurb. new air filter. new battery.

It is a little tatty overall but it is 20 years old. The seat is secure but I could not get it to sit down to the rear fairing so there is a small gap (see picture). Also there is a whine coming from the tacho cable so is probably on its way out (??8 on ebay)

The oil pump has been bypassed and so the bike is run on pre-mix 50:1 (oil tank comes with bike as does a load of body panels and all the old bits I changed for new. plus a haynes manual and a couple of bottles of two stroke oil. new inner tube. spark plugs. nbsp;etc. This is all in a large box that you will need a car to take away)

Really like this bike. but so want a sports bike it has to go! The bike is riding very well and would suit a learner or a commuter.

V5 is present and is in my name. will be using this as my commuter so mileage will go up 10 miles a day!
