1968 Honda CL90

 I am selling this bike for my Father-in-law. but should be able to answer most questions.

This bike is a 1968 Honda CL90. Red/Silver paint in very good condition for being almost 50 years old. This bike runs great and is a lot of fun to ride. I have put in new points. set the timing and installed a new battery. It starts very easy and only needs the choke when the weather is cold. When it is warmer. it usually starts on the first kick. It shifts and stops fine. I believe the seat cover is original.   The tires are OK. but starting to show some age cracks.   The horn and on/off switch work fine. The lights do not work correctly. I have not investigated why. but I suspect it's either bad bulbs and/or a little corrosion. I did pull the headlight off to see if anyone had got into the wiring and cut it up over the years. The wiring is fine and untouched. The bike does have an aftermarket headlight that does not fit well and is currently held on with clear tape. I have a NOS headlight for it but it needs an original headlight ring to really finish it off.

I had a '65 CL90 when I was a kid and this thing brings back a lot of fun memories. It would be a great bike for someone to own. drive and enjoy or clean it up and put in a collection somewhere.
