Honda CB600 Hornet        Honda's middle-weight Hornet was their answer to the popular Bandit. better in every way. they took the CBR600 engine and fitted it in a skinny. naked chassis. fitted a funky (stainless) exhaust. kept the sports bike brakes and a fatter rear tyre to take advantage of the extra acceleration. Actually. as it's a Honda. it's still about the easiest bike to ride and is very novice friendly with smooth power delivery and narrow seat means even shorties can put their feet down. the comfy sit-up position and wide bars make it very easy to balance and control too. One of the lightest and compact 600s Honda still sell a 'Hornet' today. so probably a good bike then. :)                                                             This bike is in good condition. being a Honda. it starts on the button sounding nice and smooth. it pulls very well up through the gears. running and riding well and stops hard too. It has a year's MOT as all the electrics function as they should (lights. hooter etc) and the consumables are good and with very good tyres. The bike is very original. still with the rare long rear mudguard that nearly everyone else had cut off :) it also has all it's original mirrors. indicators. owner's manual and toolkit. No signs of it ever falling over. there are a few signs of age/storage with a bit of paint fade on tail. some bubbled paint on rear wheel and engine alloy so not perfect but I'd still consider it rather nice.                         A good. original example of  a very popular model. the bike is ready to ride and comes with the V5 logbook. manual. year's MOT and both original Honda keys.
