Honda XR400R - DEPOSIT NOW TAKEN PENDING COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND

1999 XR400R. This is a very clean. original. well cared for bike. I bought it from a friend of a friend and I knew it to be a well cared for unabused example of an XR400R. It has 11. 00 miles on the clock but had an MPH converter fitted to the KMH speedo at around 6. 00 KM therefore the true mileage is around 9. 00 miles. Myself and the previous owner have been mature riders who have looked after the bike - it has had very regular oil changes and servicing including valve clearance checks and the engine is as sweet as a nut - as far as I know. the engine has never been apart and sounds extremely quiet. and uses no oil. The bike is easy to start. and the engine is extremely strong. Smart bike. some scratches and marks where it has been on green lanes but compared to most XR's you see it is in nice condition. Has had oil changes at a maximum of 1. 00 mile intervals whilst I've owned it. and new chain and sprockets and brake pads within the last 1. 00 miles. These are bullet proof bikes and this one has had an easy life compared to most. The carb has been fully rebuilt with a genuine Honda rebuild kit including all new gaskets and o-rings etc. Comes with a set of road tyres. a set of knobblies. a Haynes workshop manual. silencer baffle and a few other odds and sods. The MOT runs to 25th April 2015. The last test has no advisories. and the bike has only done 50 miles or so since then! Viewing welcome. You wont be disappointed.
