     Up for auction is a premium condition 1969 Z50A K1. This bike has been painstakingly refurbished and has so many new parts you will think you are looking at a new bike.

     The following description will give you an idea as to all that was done to complete this bike. Please forgive me for using the word ?ˆ?New?ˆ? so many times but like I said almost everything on this bike is new.

     I think anyone would agree that this bike looks fantastic but unless you have restored one yourself you can?ˆ™t really appreciate the amount of labor and money it takes to restore one of these bikes to this level. So bid with confidence knowing that every effort has been made to create this level of bike!

Engine and Transmission

     The rebuilt motor and transmission has a new piston and rings. It has a new timing chain. gears. and rollers. It has all new oil seals and gaskets. The valves have been lapped and reseated to the head. It has new clutch discs. It has new shift forks and shift drum pins. It has new points. plug and condenser. It has new shift & kick start rubbers. It has new fuel line. It has a new air cleaner foam. the original air cleaner has been re-zinced. The carburetor has been rebuilt. I have polished magneto side cover as well as the cam gear & tappet covers.  The head pipe & exhaust guards have been re-chromed. Original K1 muffler in excellent condition with the correct verbage has also been re-chromed. I polished the clutch cover and head to a beautiful shine.

The bike starts on the first kick and runs like a dream.

Wheels . Tires. and Drive

      The bike is equipped with new NOS style tires. new tubes. new wheel bearings and seals. new brake shoes.  New sprockets & chain have been installed. It has a new chain guard. I have polished brake hubs wand re-zinced the brake hardware. Wheels painted cloud silver. Re-zinced original axles. and number"8" bolts.

Front Fork Assembly

     Front Fork Assembly was rebuilt with new fork seals & boots. and the triple clamp was polished. It has a new steering nut. I have re-chromed the fork legs and polished the fork caps. I installed new NOS fork reflectors and rubber bases.

Steering Assembly

      New NOS grips & hi/low switch. It has new brake and throttle cables with new rubber grommets for the wiring.  It has new K1 handlebars and new throttle assembly. It has new NOS brake levers and screws that hold them to the bar. It has new OEM handlebar knobs.  

Bike Body and Frame

     The frame was pressure washed and glass beaded prior to painting. The paint is a match to the Honda Yellow from an original painted part in good condition. Everything was primered. then a base coat was applied then clear coat. The gas tank is beautifully and unbelievably clean in side as well as outside.  The bike has new fenders. The original K1 seat pan was painted and a reproduction cover was installed. I re-chromed and resealed the fuel cap. All of the Honda large "8" bolts have been re-zinced. The foot-pegs and kickstand have also been rebuilt and re-zinced. It has an original headlight bucket with a new headlight. hi beam light and the original headlight emblem. It has a new hi/low switch. a new wire harness. a new key switch. a new tail light and taillight bracket and a new battery. The battery box was powder coated gloss black. The battery seen in photo is not the actual battery included.   I will provide a new one.

Shipping & Handling

Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and shipping costs!

Buyer is responsible for all aspects of the shipping. Please don't ask me how much to ship it to where you are. bike weighs about 125lbs. I won?ˆ™t crate the bike but if you want to ship by Forward Air shipping company please include an additional $50 to cover the cost of tie-downs and a good lock. Forward Air provides a steal crate. You do need to make a reservation with them and that takes about two weeks. I have used them before without any problems.  

Payment Details

          I require a $200 deposit to be paid within 24 hours after the close of auction through PayPal. The rest I want paid within 7 days by Cashier?ˆ™s Check. Bank Wire or Cash. If you want to pay the full amount owed through PayPal then I will require you to pay an additional 3% to cover the PayPal charges. All funds must clear prior to shipment.

Additional Comments

          I don't have the title yet. However it is on it's way from the state of California DMV. That might take two weeks to a month.  The bike is currently registered in my name so as soon as the title gets to me I will sign it and mail it off to you. I did all the paperwork on 11/5/14. Pleaseask questions before you bid. I will answer all questions to the best of my ability. Note: Bike is also being shown locally.
