This lovely old 1986 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 12937 miles and has been in storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the mirrors & ignition key. The bike has obviously stood a while so the paint work is all faded. seat cover & tyres are perished & battery is flat. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as solid as it looks here & is just crying out to be restored. The wheels are straight with nice clean brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguard is solid. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat base feels in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery. bypassed the ignition & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. 2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. 3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.
