Honda NSR125R NSR 125 R 2001 FOR REPAIR - UK Model

This is my son's 2001 Honda NSR 125 R. We have owned it since the spring. The bike was in exceptional condition for a 2001 model. We bought it from a young lady who had done 400 miles on it in 5 years. Sadly. my son was knocked off the bike within 50 yards of our home. He overtook a stationary vehicle that then turned right across his path. The left footrest (and his foot) collided with the off side front wing of the car at all of 10 mph and it flipped the bike over. It has sustained cosmetic damage. We have chosen not to repair the bike - we are selling to fund the purchase of a car. Side Fairing ??168 (if you can find one). inspection panel ??68 and rear fairing ??87. Of course. you can source second hand parts from eBay. Before the accident the bike was exceptional - Honda build quality and reliability. The bike CANNOT BE RIDDEN away. It has no left foot rest. and no front brake lever. The throttle is stiff due to the assembly damage. It will need to be COLLECTED in a van or on a trailer. Do NOT expect to turn up and ride it away. I won't let you. The electric starter did not work before the accident - the brushes no doubt need changing. Everything else worked faultlessly. It is worth making clear that it is a FULL POWER (de-restricted) UK model. The bike does run. MOT and road tax have EXPIRED. I have a number of old MOT's and receipts plus the handbook. Only 1 key. HPi clear - accident NOT recorded. We did not pursue a claim against the driver as it was 50/50 and there were no witnesses. Didn't want it impacting future car insurance premiums.
