HONDA CB500 S, RED, 1999 reg, Mileage 22285, Great extras included!

It is with great regret that I am selling my beautiful bike?ˆ¦.   I have had him from new. and have never found another bike that has ticked all the boxes as well as this one.  He has taken me from novice just-passed-my-test rider. right through to riding with the Advanced Motorcyclists. and I have to say I couldn't have had a better teacher!  CB500s really are true all-rounders in their class - Comfortable when long-distance touring (comfy seat for rider and pillion. and low air-buffeting thanks to the little fairing. and decent leg-length for rider and pillion). agile in heavy traffic around town. buzzy and fun when you drop down a few gears and head for the open road. but without shouting "Look at me" as you ride past the police patrol car!  I have ridden all of the 22000 or so miles. and enjoyed every mile! However. sadly I am not ageing quite as well as my bike. and I think it is now time for me to hang up my Arai. and give someone else the chance to sample the brilliance and charm of the CB500.  Extras include: Datatag security marking. heated grips (fitted from new) and a front fender extender.  I am also including the following in the sale: Givi monokey rack Givi E45 top box (which fits 2 full-faced helmets).   Baglux Tank cover (Red)(with integral clips for the tank bags) Set of two Baglux Omega tank bags (Red). which can be used separately or zipped on top of each other. (Both with rain covers and see-through map pockets on top)The bike is on a SORN at the moment. and doesn't have an MOT. although it has never failed an MOT in the past.  It has not been ridden for a while. but has been started and the engine run regularly to keep the battery topped up.
