1972 CB500 Honda low miles original survior 487 miles

Notice: The title for this bike is New York state registration which is transferable and acts as a title in other states. In New York state a title is not used and registration takes its place. Up for sale is my CB500 low miles (487) bike super clean. nice. unmolested and undamaged from accident. I got this CB500 and another ultra low miles bike in the kind excellent condition that you see in the pictures out of dry climate controlled storage. The bike was very clean and well cared for as a stored bike. Since I acquired the bike I had the carburetors redone and balanced. The carbs do not leak but they sure did when I got the bike. Changed the oil last month. The bike starts right up runs solid and nice and feels new when driven. The starter clutch has not worked since I got the bike but I am hoping it will start to work again just from driving the bike. Here is how the bike appears. Nice bright chrome. some small scattered pitting from rust which should be virtually un-noticable once the bike is polished up. The chrome on this bike doesn't have that dull faded look and all the bright is in very nice condition. The paint is really nice for the age and reflects the indoor storage that the bike benefited from but with the imperfections that you see. The pipes are rusty at the horn weld joint because they were a weak design. number one and number two because the bike was ridden just a few miles a day when it was in use which was until June 1976. Great patina. original patina. and original only once as they say. Not hiding anything here. just an original super clean untouched K1 Honda. You can email or call me for additional information.
