1986 Honda VF500 Interceptor V-4 500cc Beautiful

Here's a very cool and very original 1986 Honda VF500.  V-4 engine with 6 speed trans.  Bike is in very good condition. and almost completely original.  Has all original factory paint. that looks great. shines bright with only a few imperfections.  Even has the factory exhaust. no leaks or rusting!Tasteful improvements and servicing made to the bike:New front and rear brake rotors and pads. Brake lines flushed. DOT 4 fluid in front and rear systems. Rims powdercoated black. new wheel bearings installed. Oil pan resealed using factory Honda gasket. Valve covers resealed using factory Honda gaskets. New Barnett clutch and springs.  Hydraulics flushed. New fuel petcock distributor disc installed. plus comes with a new reproduction one. New seat cover. New grips. New battery. New Pirelli tires. very few rides on them. Bike starts easy when cold and runs good.  Does need to be re-jetted. and will come with a Dynojet kit plus an extra complete set of carbs. but the engine is very smooth and the bike is FAST!  Brakes stop the bike great. drama free.  Clutch operation perfect with no slipping. Being a 28 year old bike. it is not perfect cosmetically and you should not expect it to be so.  There is a dent in the tank. and there are some paint imperfections. look closely at the photos:Dent in tank. right side.  Tank is spotless inside. Fairing cracked right side by tank. scratches. Chips in tank paint left side. Paint abrasions on rear cowl corners by tail light. Paint chips. touched up on fork lowers. Chips in paint on chin spoiler. Scratches on side of right muffler. Left side cowl/side cover paint abraded & scratched near helmet lock. Also comes with a Factory shop manual. and records for work done. Bike is located in Livermore. California and must be picked up there.  Title is clear and is currently registered.  If you cannot pick the bike up and need to ship it. YOU are required to perform all arrangements and setup.  You can find many shippers on the Internet. some that will deliver door to door.  You need to understand the logistics. shipping is expensive. upwards of $800 coast to coast. so DO NOT BID WITHOUT INVESTIGATING SHIPPING FIRST!!
