Description

I am the original woman owner of this VFR800 Interceptor.   It is the perfect all-around bike for any type of riding you want to do. local. touring. track riding. Iron Butt rides. I've done them all very comfortably on this bike.   I am selling because my health and interests have changed.   It has some scratches on the sides of the fairings but they are not noticeable unless you look up close.   I know they are there. but most people don't.   These scratches are from slow or stopped drops. this bike has never been in any crashes.  There is also a small dimple in the left Staintune pipe but this does not affect performance or sound.  It happened when I was reareanded while stopped at a light.  It was a light bump. I went down on the left side and slid a short distance.  The only damage was this dimple in the pipe and a few new scratches in the plastics. Extras on it include:Sargent Seat ($430 value)Staintune Stainless Steel exhaust ($1300 value)Dynojet Power Commander III ($350 value)Custom map on Power Commander2 Powerlet outlets up front for charging phone. radar. any other accessories while ridingPermanent thermostat for heated jacket linerElectrical relay to automatically cut power to powerlet outlets and thermostat when bike is turned off. Michelin Road 2 on front with a little less than 50% tread left. Michelin Road 3 on rear with 90% tread left. HID (High Intensity Display) headlight bulbsLED rear tail light/brake light bulbsVibranator vibration dampening bar ends ($120 value)Shad topcase ($200 value including installed mounting hardware)Luggage Locker tail bag ($150 value)Not that it adds any value. but this bike is in the movie "Why We Ride" in the Valley of Fire scene in the beginning of the movie.   I am the lead rider on my VFR in this scene.   You can tell its a VFR as I ride passed the cameras.   It has taken me on many adventures. given me some great experiences. allowed me to meet some truly wonderful people and I will miss it. but it is time. I just hope it goes to someone who will enjoy it as much as I did.   There is nothing wrong with it. it has always been maintained by qualified mechanics.   The stator was replaced in 2012. so there shouldn't be any more electrical issues with it.
