1989 HONDA XL600V RED

Honda Transalp xl600v Extremely reluctant sale. family commitments mean daddy needs a car ! I purchased the bike in september 2013 for ??1500. The bike is in excellent condition for it's age and i have done & had an awful lot of work done to it. It's a fantastic bike & it has had a lot of restoration. The engine makes a light ticking noise ( it did when i purchased it and makes 0 difference to the running ) The top end has been totally stripped and rebuilt. The engine's internals are in superb condition and many bits have been replaced. I have an extensive collection of pictures of this. I have spent ??100's on this bike. Here's a list of what's been done * ( Black givi engine guards are included with bike and the original belly pan ) * Valve timing adjusted new cam tensioners F+R New cam chains F+R New oil pump chain ( not installed but included in sale ) New rear shock and swingarm linkage seals and bearings New EBC clutch springs and locking nut New gaskets. seals & hi performance oil and filters New HEL braided brake line New EBC brake shoes New high performance spark plugs New fuel hoses and assorted clamps and clips throughout New rear indicators New fork gaitors New bulbs and headlight seal Switchgear from a cbr 400 lots of New bolts internally and externally Cables wrapped with protective hose ( some colour coded ) Carbs stripped & cleaned & rebuilt Many parts powder coated including swing arm. linkage. foot pegs. Many parts sprayed including Rocker covers. radiator. front forks. exhaust system. Will be sold with 12 months M. O. T. Minor flaws mentioned regarding front wheel and panels ( very minor stuff in my opinion ) A great bike in very good condition overall. Extensive service history and previous M. O. T'S.
