Honda C50

Honda C50 49CC motorcycle in red. 1972. I bought this bike as cheap transport to tide me over while my main vehicle was off the road. I have found it to be a very solid and reliable machine and it has served me well. The bike runs really well and easily returns 100 mpg. The frame is strong in all the right places - namely at the rear suspension mountings (see photos). which are often a problem on these machines. The bike has a very long MOT (23rd October 2015) and is taxed until 28th February 2015. Actually. it is tax exempt as an historic vehicle so renewal will be free of charge when it comes around. This machine would be ideal either as reliable cheap transport or as the basis for a straightforward cosmetic restoration. I seriously considered the latter option but unfortunately already have too many projects on the go.  Prospective bidders are welcome to come and inspect the bike by arrangement with me. It is offered on a sold as seen basis and no warranty is offered. Payment should be made either via Paypal or by cash on collection.
