Vehicle overview:Hi here from my personal collection is a 2001 Honda X8R 50 Air Cooled 50cc 2-stroke automatic learner legal scooter/ moped. Very popular scooter at the moment. small/ light and easy to control and ride.  Very nice top quality scooter from Honda. This scooter is in Good condition for its year. I have refurbished the bike and getting it ready for it's next owner. This scooter has the air cooled carburettor engine which is far more reliable than the liquid cooled scooters on the market and has and will achieve around 120mpg. This scooter is standard and still restricted so very reliable. Starts easily via electric start or by the kick-start and runs very well. Engine has not been messed with and is in standard form. Exhaust system has been stripped back and freshly repainted. Brand new seat cover fitted.  Sold with a new 12 month TAX disc* and a new 12 months MOT so can be ridden away! Comes with two keys. new 12 months MOT certificate. new 12 month TAX disc*. full V5 registration document. 3 previous MOT certificates and full purchase receipt.

Overall condition (1 being for spares. 20 being showroom as new condition) :13. Good condition for its year. has been used and has age related wear and tear (see photos and watch the video). Good example of this bike. Very good engine with refurbished exhaust system fitted

Mechanical condition: Very good. has been well looked after. starts first press of the electric start button or kick of the kick-start. Good battery fitted. 50cc 2-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine. Plenty of power. idles very nicely. very nippy off the mark and as still restricted will sit at around 30mph. No leaks at all. Automatic choke as standard working fine. Speedo. mileometer and fuel guage working fine. Engine starts easily and runs very well with normal 2-stroke smoke.

Cosmetic condition: Ok to good for its age. Has minor age related marks. scratches and cracks to plastics but is solid and has nothing that needs attention. Please view the photos and watch the video. I have just fitted a brand new seat cover. Alloy wheels are in good condition for their ago and the paint has been touched up.

Electrics :Everything works. no faults to report.

Test run: Runs and rides nicely. quick off the mark and rides like a rocket for a scooter! Pulls cleanly. Runs and rides superb! Handles great and sounds awesome (see video).

Brakes:Good working order. Powerful disk brake at the front and rear wheel.

Suspension:Good working order front and back. Fork seals good with no leaking.

Tires:Both tires are good. front tyre has approx 70% tred remaining and the rear tyre has approx 60% tred remaining.

MOT? : This scooter will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS MOT post auction end.

TAX? :This is my scooter and will be sold with a NEW 12 MONTHS TAX DISC post auction end*.

*- As of 1st October 2014 if the buyer wishes to take advantage of having a new 12 months TAX disc included in the sale then it will be their responsibility to make the sure the bike is insured from the agreed day that the seller will arrange to TAX it from otherwise the bike will be sold untaxed with no reduction of the sale price.

I can however. share my opinion as to its appearance and mechanical condition. I always test-ride and inspect all my bikes very carefully prior to listing them.
