Description

Hi all. nbsp;I've decided to hang up my leathers and sell my favourite toy. my 2003 Honda CBR600RR. I've owned this bike for 3 years and I knew the previous owner who'd owned it since 2006 (and barely used it). Before that I believe it was a Superstock bike. I applied for the V5 early on so I could ride it on the road to get used to riding it before taking it on track. it would require a horn to pass a daylight only MOT again (I used a bicycle battery thing). It is currently on SORN and all the engine chassis numbers tally up. I've used it for track days both in the UK and in Europe. and it's been superb. It's still quick enough to hold it's own in the advanced group against the 1000cc bikes and is very reliable. The last European track day I did was in Misano where it did all 23 sessions over the 3 days without missing a beat.  Details of the bike:

Stock 600 motor. very regular recent oil/filter changes using decent grade Silkolene oil/ K&N filters. Yoshimura RS-5 slip on system (not just the end can. split down by the rearsets. Comes with a Yoshi dB killer. never used as I never worked out how to fit it. just had it as an emergency). sounds lovely. K&N Air filter (Cleaned & oiled regularly). Full track/race bodywork (which is a bit tatty to be honest. but functional and it fits. if the graphics are to your liking) +spare tank cover (in primer). Sprint steering damper. K-Tech Shock (there's some paperwork that goes with it showing the settings for the rider it was set up for). Rearsets (only cheapish no brand ones. but they work). Recently fitted Ultrabatt lightweight lithium Ion battery. Lightweight race subframe with mounting position for Power Commander III USB (did have one fitted. but it created an electrical problem. still have it somewhere if you want to try and get it sorted?). HEL brake lines front & rear. Lightweight fairing brace with mounting place for Rollcentre T100 lap timer (included. but no beacon). R&G Crash bungs + paddock stand bobbins. Shark fin. Sparco Tank cap. Techtronics quickshifter.

Bike has some nice touches with everything you'll need already drilled. plus the rear caliper has some kind of mod to keep it in place to speed up rear wheel changes.

Spares:

Front & rear paddock stands. Front under headstock stand (remind me to dig out the spacer collar). Pair of Wets on Wheels (with discs) with barely used Metzeler wets fitted. Pair of Colts Bandit tyre warmers. Jig to straighten lightweight subframe. 2 x spare swing arms (1 pretty tatty). Complete set of spare rearsets (quickshifter won't work on these though as it's on race shift). Loose old Dunlop front wet (would be ok for an emergency). Loose CompK rear slick with only 3 sessions on it (180). Loose Pirelli Supercorsa Diablo rear scrub (190). Spare pair of clocks (I've got a feeling these are an old set and had issues though?). Spare Sprocket carrier & cush drive rubbers. Front sprockets (mixture of Talon & Renthal) 14. 5. 6 (15 fitted). Rear sprockets (all Renthal) 42. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7 (46 fitted). Spare rear disc. 2 x Spare standard rear shocks. Spare rear brake carrier. Spare lower suspension linkage. 2 x Spare shock upper carriers. 1 pair spare stock clip ons. 1 pair spare renthal grips. Spare twistgrip assy (std). 3 x Spare clutch levers (1 with perch). Spare brake lever. Charger for lithium ion battery (never used). Spare front & rear wheel spindles. 4 x chain adjusters. 1 pair spare crash bungs (1 damaged. but still useable). Stock battery carrier with battery (can't tell of condition of the battery & not sure how you'd fit it to the subframe though). Clutch tool. Side stand to slip on footrest. Spare set of brand new spark plugs. I'm sure I forgotten something. but i'll add anything else I think of whilst the listing runs. This would suit someone looking to start out in racing or track days as everything you'd need is included. and it's ready to go. just put some fuel in it :)
