cbx750 Cafe Racer, no expenses spared custom bike real head turner

Here we have my  Honda CBX750 cafe racer. have spent nearly 2 years (on and off) modifying and improving the bike so that it is a real head turner. I'm a 55 year old retired mechanical engineer and I have an HND in mechanical engineering so know what I'm doing with the old spanners. I have spent 100's of hours on the bike as well as hundreds of pounds so wont be giving it away. I'm open to offers but no silly ones. The Bike can be viewed by appointment and is near Pontefract . The bike had just 30. 63 miles on the clock ( just 1000 miles per year) and is an Italian import with all taxes paid. The bike came into the country in 2000 and this is the date on the V5c although the bike is a 1984 model (approx).  All the original plastics were removed and sold as they were in superb order. have fitted a modified CX500 tank as these look a lot more in keeping with the Cafe racer look that I was after. The rear of the frame was shortened and a new tubular one was welded into position and altered to give the seat hump a more pleasing shape. The main frame is powder coated in a candy Red that changes colour depending on how the light hits itThe rear arm is powder coated in silver sparkle and has a hugger fitted.  The old filter box as been done away with to give a clean see through frame look. nd the battery as been moved under the seat hump along with most of the electrical connections. The oil cooler had to be moved as I have done away with the front light subframe that previously held it. his is now held in front of the engine. high up in front of the cam covers and is rubber mounted to prevent vibration damage.  I have the V5c and it is in my name. The bike is currently Sorn. The bike Runs but will require final set up. as I don't have the equipment to do this. This is not the usual Cafe Racer !!! that we see on Ebay(stick a single seat on it and a pair of dropped handle bars and there you go a cafe racer >>>>>>not). The bike mods have been thought through. and modified accordingly . I have over three hundred Photo's of the bike going from the original bike through to the finished article (a copy of the disc will go with the bike). Here is a list of some of the parts fitted. The Carbs have been stripped and cleaned with new diaphragms fitted to all 4 of them. I know I have spent over ??1500 on the bike and I'm loathed to let it go. but I cant ride any more so it is up for sale. No Swaps and No silly offers. his is a quality machine in need of a good home.
