1985 Honda CR125 CR 125 very good condition completely rebuilt less than 6 hrs

     Up for sale is 1985 Honda CR125 in excellent condition that was completely rebuilt approximately 5-6 hours ago.  The bike was disassembled and the frame/swingarm were sandblasted and painted with automotive-grade paint.  There are some scratches and a few areas of missing paint. but it looks good and the paint is in good shape and is well-adhered. The rims/hubs were powder-coated black. had new bearings installed.  and were relaced with Buchanan HD spokes and fitted with Bridgestone Motocross M404 and M403 tires and new tubes. The tires have 98% tread and the rims look to be scratch-free and are in great shape  The engine was completely disassembled and every single internal bearing was replaced (including the crank of course) and new seals were installed.  The cylinder was bored/honed and a new piston. rings. and wristpin etc. were installed.  The motor runs great. shifts great. and starts within the first kick or two and is fast for an old 125.  The ATAC valve was removed and a block-off was installed. which was a popular mod for this particular bike because of the undesirable characteristics of the ATAC valve.  The radiators were replaced with very nice reproductions and new hoses. and a new DG full exhaust system was installed and the parts are all in great shape with no damage.  The suspension was completely rebuilt and revalved and has front and rear Race Tech gold valves installed set for 180-200 intermediate MX. It handles great and rides like a brand new bike. The seat cover is new and has a slight wrinkle to it but it looks pretty nice and the foam is in great shape.  The fenders were replaced. but the radiator guards. number plate. and side covers are original and in nice shape.  One of the side covers is cracked as shown in the close up but it bolts up fine with some oversize washers and stays secure.  There are some scratches and scuffs on all of the plastics but they are great shape for their age.  The bars were replaced with 1 1/8 aluminum bars/clamps and new brake pads. chain. and sprockets were installed.  The pegs were modified/widened.  I'll also include a brand new set of black grips if you want them.   This is a very nice bike and it is 100% ready to race.  I will be driving from Cincinnati to Detroit and then to northern Illinois next week and the following week I will be travelling from Cincy to Denver CO. and then to Kingsman Arizona and I would be glad to deliver the bike in person for a great price if you are somewhere near one of my routes.  I am always glad to work with the shipper of your choice as well.  My opening bid is my reserve and I will sell it for that price. but I will not end the auction early unless a better offer is given than the starting bid so please consider that before contacting me.  Thanks for looking!
