2002 Honda Interceptor VFR 800

This has been my bike since 2009. It has 28. 20 miles on the clock. It has always been garage stored. The photos show where it has been scratched and it did a low speed low side on the open road in death valley after hitting an oil sand mix going around a corner. The fairings and a small quarter sized dent on tank are the only cosmetic flaw. there were a few clips behind fairings that have been replaced. It has been running Honda Synthetic Motorcycle Oil since I purhchased it. I change fluids regularly and keep it running well with professional services at dealer. It has Michelin Pilot power tires with over half life left in them. The sprockets and chain have about 5500 miles on them. Last month I had a shop replace the entire Charging system. Stator and Rectifier. It is a charm to ride. If you know the VFR you know the legendary V4 and the unique sound somewhere between a V twin and a stock car. This one comes with plenty of extras. Staintune Exhaust. 2 Brothers mufflers. Power Commander. Removable Lockable GIVI Hard bags. Shorai Light Weight battery and a Corbin Saddle. This bike is a super versatile cross over. You can do long comfortable road trips. (I have). or you can hang with the fast pack in the twisties. It is a bike that anyone who has ridden can feel at home on. I am selling because I have children of a busy age and little time to ride both of my motorcycles. Some christmas cash would be nice now as well. I am selling this one and keeping my CBR1000 for now. It runs like a champ and the Honda V4 is know for super high trouble free mileage. I have the free and clear title in hand and she is ready for a new owner. The bike is not in Mint condition at 24. 00 miles but is a very solid and reliable bike that has been mechanically maintained very well. I would not hesitate to take it cross country. I am asking what i believe is a very reasonable price for a useful and entertaining ride. I have the bike listed locally as well. I have the ability to transport the bike and May be able to assist in delivery (pending circumstances) if the distance is not over  few hundred miles but I will certainly help on a local level. I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction end but will store the bike for you and would like to complete transaction and have payment within 15 days.
