1981 Honda CB400A Motorcycle Automatic

Up for bid is this FANTASTIC 1981 CB400A motorcycle. The bike was only used sparingly and has really low mileage. ONLY 2270 ORIGINAL MILES! You won't find many bikes this age in this type of condition! The motorcycle features an automatic transmission that doesn't require the rider to pull in a clutch lever when shifting. The condition of this motorcycle is REALLY good and shows just light signs of use. Currently the bike doesn't run because it has been sitting in a garage for the last 4 years without being started. I am sure that a fresh battery. gas and maybe a carb cleaning and this will fire right up. Here are the details of the bike. The paint looks really good with no fading. Only a few VERY small nicks and scratches on the tank. The seat is perfect with no tears. The gauges all work and have clear lenses and graphics. The tires have good tread on them (remember. the bike only has 2270 miles on it!) but do have some cracking due to sitting and age. The pipes are original and have no holes or splits in them. The chrome on the rims. fenders and pipes look glossy good with only tiny specs on them here and there. I didn't try and polish anything but I am sure that with a little elbow grease these will buff right out. Headlight. taillight and blinkers all look good with no cracks. I am not an expert on these bikes but to the best of my knowledge all of the parts on this motorcycle are the original parts. Grips and foot pegs all look good with minimal wear marks. The inside of the tank is clean with no rust. I have the original Honda key for the ignition. A clean title will be given to the new owner when they come and pick up the bike with payment. I ask that a $200. 00 deposit be sent to my paypal account within 24 hours of auction end. Since this is an older. used bike I obviously cannot and will not provide any type of warranty or guarantee. I will not ship this bike. It will be for pick-up only in Findlay. Ohio. In the event the new owner wishes to have the bike shipped. this will be COMPLETELY handled by them. I will only agree to have someone here when the truck arrives and it MUST be picked up within 10 days of the auction end. What a fantastic bike and with minimal TLC will be ready to cruise in no time!!!!
