1985 Honda CB700SC Nighthawk S vintage Honda Nighthawk 700-S No Reserve AHRMA

This is a 1985 Honda CB 700SC Nighthawk-S. It is in great overall condition and excellent mechanical condition. I bought it this past summer and my intention was to turn it from a really nice old bike into a museum piece. but then I started riding it!! I fell in love with it and put 6000+ miles on it and never did turn it into a museum piece- it is just to fun to ride!!The engine runs GREAT. does not leak oil. smoke or have any issues. Shifts fine. clutch works fine too. Brakes work great and will stop on a dime!The previous owner put new fork seals. seat cover. battery & clutch plates in it. I estimate tire tread remaining to be aproximately 20-25% Stuff . While in excellent mechanical condition there are some cosmetic  issues- none of them critical and in no way affects riding. The wind screen was previously painted black and is not held on with the OEM push pins and there is a small chip where one of the screws/pins goes in that has a epoxy repair and works well ( visible in the pictures ). The left side cover has the typical split between the top section and the bottom and has been epoxy repaired. Again it is completely functional but not beautiful. The graphics on the rear tail section have been touched up around the outside with white and it is  not a great job. The previous owner had a tank bag on it and it wore the paint thin in one area and where the original " warning " sticker was the paint pulled off with the sticker when I removed the bag. Overall. I would say if you are looking for a " just as new " machine. this is NOT for you. However I would describe it as and older bike that while not perfect or stunning IS in REALLY nice shape. runs excellent and without to much trouble could be made to look like a show bike. Just the way it is I get people looking at it everywhere I go!I encourage anyone interested to come see it. look it over carefully and take it for a ride ( it is on the road NOW! ) A $200. 00 deposit is REQUIRED within 24 hours.
