This 1978 Honda CB550 was built and customized by Greenpoint based artist Nick Van Woert. Nick has been upgrading and customizing the bike over the last few years and also using it as his daily rider. It has just a hair over 300 miles since completion. so it's been fully sorted out. It's the tightest riding. nbsp;fastest CB550 we've ever been on. The riding position is spot on with the Renthals and the tune on the motor is perfect. It pulls extremely hard throughout the rev range with no flatspots or hesitation. Dyna ignitions make a big difference on these bikes. It also has the strongest brakes we've ever felt on a CB550. Normally they can be quite spongy and require a hard pull to work right. These are effortless and stop the bike very quickly. Everything on the bike works- turn signals. horn. high and low beam. taillight and brake light. The tire selection is also nice. it gives the bike a good look without riding like some of the fat balloon Firestone Deluxes. which ruin any hope of taking corners.

At Close of Auction

The successful "winning" bidder must telephone me within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.

A $1. 00 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close by cash. cashiers check. or wire transfer.

Full payment must be received within 72 hours after the end of the auction. Payment must be certified funds. cash. bank check or wire transfer. If funds are not received. and an alternate arrangement has not been made. the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come. first-serve basis.

Shipping

I will assist with shipping arrangements however; the buyer pays all shipping costs.   I do not have any affiliation with. or interest in. any transportation companies and all questions or concerns should be addressed directly with them.
