86' Honda Z-50 Christmas Special

Here we have what I consider to be one of the nicest Christmas Specials in the country.   When I bought the bike I was told it never has had fuel run through it and by looking at it I never had reason to believe any different.   But as I decided to sell it I went over it very carefully as not to mislead anyone so here is what I found.   I took the gas cap off and took a smell of the tank and it has a very faint smell of fuel. I am thinking maybe the dealership test fired it.   Also if you will blow up the motor picture you will see the inspection bolts on the top and bottom side of the head.   Head top and bottom bolts have paint off the corners of the bolts. looks like a socket was on them - maybe from the dealership test fire. I don't really know. but its there whatever the reason.   If you blow up the picture of the wheel you will see very minut specs of rust on the surface from humidity is all I can think of. but you have to look really hard.   But after 29 years I guess that's to be expected.   To be absolutely perfect it needs to set on the bench and spend a day detailing it with Q-tips and a toothbrush to clean all cracks and hard to get spots from dust settling over the years.   Overall one of the best and investment grade specials out there.   The only way to find a nicer one. is to get one in the crate. which would be impossible because they were delivered to the dealership crated in pairs.   I have seen a pair floating around the internet from time to time for 20K or better.   This is as close to new as you can get from a single bike out of the box.   Call with any questions Jeff 972-922-2996
