2008 Honda Shadow, custom everything, rat rod, 1 owner. V Twin, Vance & Hines

2008 Honda Shadow Aero model.   I purchased new in January 2008 and have had it dealer maintained since new at both Tampa bay Honda dealerships and performance Twin in Largo Florida.   I have had both recommended valve adjustments done and all oil changes every year or 3000 miles.   I have all paperwork since new. free/clear Florida title. and both factory keys.   Just returned from 500 mile trip to Daytona and back with no issues and bike ran great.   Let me know if you want any additional pictures.

I have had some customizations done including changing the factory exhaust for a set of Vance & Hines pipes which sound great.   Had bike professionally refinished two years ago in Hot Rod Black which is basically Matte finish or black denim.   I did not add any striping as I could not decide on a design and many people advised they liked bike as is and so did I. but it is a perfect blank canvass if you decide to customize it further.   I added sissy bar and aftermarket Spike air cleaner.   (I do still have the stock air cleaner and it also comes with the bike. )  Tires are like new and the bike runs stops and starts perfect.   Miles are around 12. 15 all put on by me and might go up a little as I use the bike regularly.   This was a second bike to me for years and was the perfect run around. cruiser. bar hopper bike.   Had bike in Daytona 3-4 times and up to Leesburg twice and bike handles great on the highway.   

This motorcycle is in excellent condition and mechanically sound.   No major defects other than some pitting on the bottom of the front forks. some minor scratches and normal wear and tear from being a driver and it is garage parked while at residence and parked in a parking garage when I drive to work.     

I got a deal I just couldn't pass up on a friends bike and I just don't want to pay registration/insurance and store both.   If you are local and want to view prior to purchase--just let me know and we can arrange a time for viewing.   For price comparison. these bikes are pretty easy to find and local dealers have several with higher miles in the high $4 and $5 thousand range.   This will be a steal and you will save on dealer fees and taxes etc. and get a 1 owner maintenanced bike with the paperwork to prove it.
