1972 Honda CT 70 3 Speed.....Original Candy Ruby Red Paint..Great Condition!

I am the 2nd owner of this 1972 Honda CT70. This is a matching numbers survivor with the original Candy Ruby Red paint that still shows nicely. Most everything is original except the tires. battery. decals. chain and air breather. Have the original air box that came with the bike. and will be included along with a set of front and rear blinkers that came with bike in a box when I bought it. Never needed blinkers. Everything works as it should. Bike starts right up. all lights work. high/low beam. and the horn. I recently had the engine reconditioned and painted with OEM factory paint. Reconditioned work included; spark plug. timing. points. condenser. valves polished and adjusted to factory specs. all new seals and gaskets. and a new carburetor that was made in Japan.  All this was done by a retired Honda motorcycle mechanic. No smoke from the tail pipe. burns clean. Small tear in back rear of seat. which was repaired. (*see picture). Also. a new OEM baffle was added so bike could be ridden in State Parks. Any other things done to this bike were done by previous owner. I have described the bike the best I can. and the pictures should speak for themselves. This is a Georgia bike and shows no signs of rust. I have kept it in our finished basement when not riding. Never ridden in the mud or rain. Most rides have been on our local State Park paved roads. or through our neighborhood streets. Overall. this is a solid survivor that will only increase in value. It is a perfect candidate for a collector to finish the restoration. or just have fun with it the way it is and was intended for. I do not have the time anymore to finish the little things to make it a show piece. and I would rather see an enthusiast give it a good home.
