Nearly immaculate 1986 model. Always garaged. overed. and nitpicked. Has a mild intermittent grind in shifting and not sure exactly what the cause is. This is why I am listing it at a low enough price to be of value to a wide range of enthusiasts. like those who may have more mechanical expertise. or the access to resources or a collector. In this condition I think it's already worth more. Bear in mind it is fully rideable and functional right now. I had it checked by a reputable mechanic. (Yoshi at the Garage Co. ) who said the shift grinding was minor overall and not worth doing anything to fix at this time and would take too much effort just to pinpoint. But I must mention it here for peace of mind and honesty. I don't have the funds or time. nbsp;to make it perfect or to do any more. It is hard to part with this machine. it has spoiled me. Corbin leather seat. Honda sissy bar and rack. MC engine guard bars. progressive fork springs with new Honda bushings. seals. clips and fork wipers. All fluids are recent including coolant. gear oil. motor oil and K&N filter. Original tool kit. original California blue plate. never out of DMV system. It never sits more than a few days at a time without being started. run and ridden. No fuel leaks. no valve cover leaks. no smoking. The bike is far too nice to just let go to parts or just sit. Tremendous power. nbsp;a trainload of torque. not for beginners. Almost no rust on entire exterior. just a very minor light film on lower headpipes. No dents on body work. There are a few small scuff marks in paint only where the front of the seat contacts the tank. but these are invisible when the seat is in place. A small scratch on side of speedo bucket. caused by improper buffing. A few scratches on mufflers which are aftermarket. and sound great. Some small pitting areas on rims. but very difficult to see from a couple feet off. The side covers are nice. each one has a stud replaced with a kit and JB Weld. There are some typical age-related things on a bike of this age. like the helmet lock needing repair. nbsp;and a slight look of fading on small areas in bright light. but no loss of shine. Only a few things have been replaced over the years like water pump. rectifier. clutch and brake rebuild kits. miscellaneous small rubber pieces. The front brakes are recent. nbsp;have a bit of a squeak due to probably bargain pads. and should have good pads put on like DP. These pics don't show the true brilliance of the color or shine nor all the nice aluminum and chrome condition. It's not perfect but everything works right. the bike performs for you. I am 3rd owner. bought it from someone who kept it like this for 20 years before me. With all this writing I still may have left something out so ask any questions you like.
