1966 CB77 Honda Super Hawk Cafe Racer Custom

 Here up for bid is a Trackside Cycles custom show winning caf?© racer.   The base model is a 1966 CB77 Honda Super Hawk.   That frame as been trimmed of battery box and excess tabs and welds for a clean appearance and powder coated with a brilliant "Traffic Light Red".  The same treatment was given to the CB77 swing arm with new bronze bushings.  Running gear from a 1987 Yamaha SRX 250 as been fitted.   This includes front and rear wheels front fork and front disc brake.   New tires front and rear  as well as disc brake piston and pads.   Forks seals replaced and fluid changed with new steering stem bearings.   The SRX rear wheel was modified to fit CB77 swing arm with new brake shoes and cables.  The center stand was modified with a custom chain tensioner to keep tension on new red drive chain when bike is in motion.   A set of new Red Wing shocks suspends the rear end.

The power plant is from A CA77 Dream and has been freshened with new pistons. valves. valve springs. gaskets and seals all around.    Carbs rebuilt And to finish it off a pair of CL77 exhaust pipes that have been replated by Space Coast Plating as has all chrome pieces on the bike.

The Fairing is from a 1987 Yamaha SRX 250 modified and painted a beautiful white pearl with and candy red tint along with a fiberglass tail section.  A Gusstaffen custom red fly shield has been installed to round out this beautiful eye catching ride.  The chin fairing is from a 1985 VF750F Interceptor Honda that covers the relocated modern battery and charging components.   All new custom made electric harness LED lights and powerful dual running lights.   About 200 miles since completion have been added to the used CB750 custom face speedometer.    It rides. runs. and tracks beautifully.
