**RARE**1973 Honda SL350 K2 Original owner; 3,472 miles; Excellent condition

In case you missed out on the one that sold on 14 Sept. . 2014. (item 191319027238   sold for $4. 76. 00) you have a second chance to get one in time for Christmas.   I purchased this motorcycle in June 1973. new. and immediately air freighted it to London. England (where I was working at the time).   It has been to Buckingham PALACE AND ALL THE MAJOR TOURIST ATTRATIONS OF THE CITY. The frame number is SL3503003813. and the engine number is SL350E3003631. exactly as shown on the original purchase receipt and title.   In addition to the original purchase paper work. we have the air freight invoice and insurance papers from England. plus the original owner's manual. repair manual. and the Dirt Bike Article from December 1973 (all to be conveyed with vehicle to the new owner).

The weather in England was not conducive to much riding so the bike got minimal use.   It has been off-road some since we returned to the United States. and has had a few spills.   Performance wise it is outstanding on or off-road.   The few spills resulted in the need to replace the clutch lever. and a few minor dents in the fuel tank (not creased; easily pulled out with a vacuum dent remover).

The machine has been mainly in storage for most of its life. so in preparation for returning to use. we installed a new battery and tires (to factory original specs). fuel lines. filters and had the carbs and forks professionally rebuilt (receipts included).   Being in Arizona. we also installed fork boots to protect from the dust.   Somewhere along the way we acquired a spare (new) right side exhaust pipe (expensive. if you can even find one; negotiable).   We installed the buddy pegs and buddy seat from the original date of purchase.   We have the two original Honda keys as well.   The toolbox cover is missing (readily available for about $12). and the tools have gotten co-mingled with the rest of my shop tools.   Nothing exotic that can't be purchased from any Honda dealer.
