1973 Honda CB450 DOHC Tyrolean Green Metallic

Up for auction is a very nice (mostly original) Tyrolean Green Metallic 1973 Honda CB450 DOHC ! This bike roars down the highway and gets looks everywhere it goes! We bought the bike from a youngster in Colorado who found it in his neighbors garage. She let him get it running and allowed him to pay for it by running errands for her! The bike has 10. 69 original miles. This bike has a clear title. I will try my best to describe the bike in detail over the next few paragraphs but please feel free to ask any questions that I may not of covered. Front End:The handle bars are nice and straight and the switches are all in tact (the bars have a heat mark on them like they have been heated and bent to shape but the previous owner didn't have any history on them). The gauges are nice and clear. The switches all operate as expected. The clutch. throttle and brake all work smoothly. The front headlight and the bucket are in great shape along with the fork ears. The forks are not pitted and do not leak but the fork gator on the left hand side is cracked and taped. The front single disc brake is in great shape. The front spoke rim is nice and straight and chrome shines nicely. The front tire has great tread and should provide many more miles. The front fender is nice and straight. no dents or dings and polishes up nicely!Engine:The engine starts and runs perfectly. The carburetors have been disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned. New spark plugs installed. Air filter cleaned.  The motor is clean and appears stock. The STOCK exhaust is in excellent shape. Fresh oil change. Body:The gas tank has three dents that I can see. Two are very minor (less than a dime size) and the third is about where your knee will be when sitting on the bike (see pictures). The paint is in outstanding condition! The inside of the tank is nice and clean. The seat foam is in great shape and the seat cover has no tears or rips. The side panels are complete but the right side is missing the emblem which is easily found on Ebay. The rear fender and tail light are in excellent condition with no dents. scrapes or breakage but the chrome on rear fender has very slight pitting. All rubber for the front and rear foot pegs are in great shape. Rear End:The rear spoke rim is nice and straight and polishes nicely. The rear tire is in great shape and should provide lots of miles before replacing. The rear drum brake is in great shape.  The chain guard is in overall great condition. The rear shocks are in excellent shape and have virtually NO rust or pitting.  Electrical:All four turns signals. head light and tail light are present and operational. The indicator lights are all intact but the neutral light does not work. The wire harness is intact and has NO noticeable splices or cuts.  Overall. the bike is complete and ready to be ridden or put away for an investment!
