2001 HONDA XR250R - HiPo BUILD / COMPLETELY REFURBISHED and RESTORED

Up for sale is a completely redone Honda XR250R. Aside from splitting the lower cases. no nut or bolt has been left untouched. Everything has been completely disassembled (to a bare frame). cleaned. inspected and restored. Professional-level work throughout. Here’s the details:

Motor - New Wiseco 263cc big-bore piston @ 10. 5:1 compression. fresh over-bore. new intake and exhaust valves. competition valve seal cut. new cam chain and fresh gaskets/o- rings throughout. Stock cam. valves and springs utilized for more reliable performance. All internal motor parts checked and verified prior to reassembly. New Tusk clutch plates and heavy duty springs. All motor work professionally done by MotoTech USA. K&N oil filter / Amsoil 20W50 Synthetic oil. Motor painted with PJ1 hi-temp paint.

Pipe - New FMF Power Core 4 spark arrester / silencer. header pipe cleaned with naval jelly and buffed. Internal header welds ground down for better flow. New copper gaskets. Exhaust fully sealed with Permatex Hi-temp RTV.

Intake - Airbox mods for more air-flow. K&N air filter w/ Outerwears pre-filter. Carb cleaned.

Drive - New Primary Drive steel sprockets and gold o-ring chain. Steel = better durability / longer wear. New Primary Drive chain guide. New chain rub blocks.

Brakes - New Tusk wave rotors. pads and brake pins front and rear. New MSR rear alloy caliper guard.

Suspension - Completely new fluids. nitrogen charge and seals throughout. Shock shaft and seal head checked before reassembly. Stock springs. Neoprene seal savers installed. All suspension work by MotoTech USA. All swing arm bearings/bushings replaced with All-Balls sealed bearings. New swing arm bolt.

Wheels - New All-Balls sealed bearings in stock front and rear hubs. axle spacers cleaned and painted. new Tusk black rims front and rear. new Buchanan’s stainless steel spokes and nipples front and rear. New MotionPro rim strips and bead locks. Wheels laced by hand by MotoTech USA. New Dunlop MX51 Geomax tires and new IRC HD tubes.

Frame - Frame/subframe sanded and repainted. New All-Balls steering head bearings and races. New fasteners throughout. Wide. mx-style pegs.

Body - New Polisport air-flo front fender. side panels and MX-style rear fender. FMF graphics on tank and swing arm. Custom rear fender graphic. Stock seat free of rips or tears.

Controls - ProTaper bars w/ new cross-bar pad. New Tusk clutch perch. levers. cables and grips. New Motion-Pro nylon throttle tube. New Trail Tech TTO tach/hour meter.

All bolts. bearings. etc. greased with Bel-Ray waterproof grease and Permatex anti-seize. All bolts torqued to factory specs.

Extras - all removed stock parts. manuals. miscellaneous lubricants. etc. NOTE: MSR stand shown in picture is NOT included. but can be negotiated into sale if desired.

Bike is in fantastic shape for a 14 year-old dirt bike. and in some ways. better than new. No expense spared - I have a stack of receipts and pictures to prove it. Title in hand. Bike is also for sale locally. so I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.
