This incredibly rare and much sought after circa 1966 Honda CS65 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 5220 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits rusty & corroded. a few bits damaged/broken & a few bits are very nice. The wheels are straight with good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguard is solid. Instruments & switches look ok. Fuel tank & side panels are solid & tank is clean inside. The engine is cosmetically clean. it turns over off the kick starter but doesn't display much compression – hard to say it the engine is tirning over or just the clutch so we haven't run it up. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of title but we will provide proof VAT & Duty is paid on the new NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. To get a dating letter - Phone Honda UK customer support on 01753 590510 who will advise you to request in writing with the bike details Model. Chassis & Engine numbers and enclose a cheque for ?30 to:- Honda UK Mc. 470. London Road. Slough. Berk’s. SL38QY

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
