HONDA XR75

This is a HONDA XR75 that was givin to me from a friend. He crashed his big bike and his Mom said get it out of the Garage. It is complete and does kick over but will not start. I added oil and gas and the fuel petcock is blocked. so I stop messing with it. There are a few scratches on the fenders and there are NO dents in the tank. t does have compression. I am not sure what year it is. o I did some research online and I think it is a 1974. My good friend is a LA County Sheriff who ran the VIN# Numbers - Both Frame and Motor are clear and is  NO LONGER in the system. I have NO Pink Slip for this bike. NOT having a Pink slip is NO Big Deal. This what you have to do to register it -Go to the DMV with a printed or written receipt from me and get the Lost Title paperwork started. you will then get a VIN Verification slip that has to be taken to your local CHP office. nce they verify the VIN Numbers they will put you in the system and hand you the VIN Verification slip and you take that back to the DMV and your DONE. I just did this with a HONDA CT70 with a lost title and it registered in my name now. I know how Honda's are if someone cleans the Tank and Carb and Petcock. It will start.
