Description

2006 Honda ANF125 T6 Innova - last of the carbed versions. Completely ready to go for a winter of commuting!I've owned the bike for the last 3 years and it's  never let me down. Even when the old battery died. it can be ridden on the kick start. I've used it to commute a 10 mile a day round trip so due to the short journey have changed the oil every 500 miles - it's a 10 minute job and under 2 litres of semi synthetic oil. so good to do and keeps these C90 derived engines nice and smooth and quiet. I've done all of my own servicing as have restored bikes in the past and have a workshop in the garage. I'm reliant on the little scooter for work. so I've always kept 100% on top of anything that needs doing and with parts so cheap on these. it's silly not to!. The factsMOT til 28th October 2015 (11 months remaining)Tax til end of April 2015 (although not sure how this works with the new taxing rules!)24. 31 miles3 owners including me. Comes with genuine Honda rack (discontinued item now) and genuine Honda top box. Selling as my wife bought me a new scooter for an early Christmas present!

The Good

HPI clear - no finance or accident history. New chain and sprockets 1000 miles agoNew rear tyre 500 miles ago and front tyre 1000 miles ago - ContiGos - the best C90 and Innova tyre for grip and wet/cold weather. Oil and air filter change 100 miles ago. New spark plug 500 miles ago. New rear drum shoes 1000 miles ago. New pattern exhaust 1500 miles ago. New Motobat gel battery 1 year ago. Valve clearances adjusted 1500 miles ago. 2 keys for the bike. 2 keys for the top box. All electrics work perfectly. No rips in the seat.

The Bad

It's been an all weather bike so in spite of spraying regularly with ACF50 and GT85 there is corrosion - purely cosmetic. The nose fairing around the headlight area rattles. A few of the screws into captive nut plastic tabs have broken off over the years. so the fairing is a little loose - doesn't affect operation. General scratches and wear and tear on the bike. with the odd small crack on the plastics. It's never been crashed. The front mudguard extender I fitted to stop the engine getting caked in mud has slight broken the back of the mudguard. but it is solid and screwed on. Rear tyre valve loses about 4 psi a week -  I just pump it up from 30 to 38 psi again every other week. Lots of receipts for parts. but no service history. The first two owners were uncle and nephew and had serviced themselves. I've serviced myself to. to a high standard.
