HONDA VFR 800 V-TEC A-6 2006 ABS SPORTS TOURIER 2 OWNERS

Just done a oil flush and re-filled with fresh 10/40 semi sin Motul oil. water change/ flush and refilled with fresh anti-freeze and tightened and oiled the chain.

I have rode this bike all week now and have to say you have the reliability. sensibility and a comfortably  ride of a Honda V-tec. at 70 odd the exhaust sound is not far from any other bike on the road but with lovely back tones when you decelerate.

Starting up outside my house at 6am was fine as well it's only when you want to give it a little you can then hear the amazing exhaust tones. the power commander has sorted out the 7k kick and you now have smooth performance all the way through the rev range

This bike starts on the button and sounds amazing really!!. I was so impressed with them I bought one for my Triumph GT see link – However when riding along at 70 mph it’s not that loud that it’s the only thing you can hear- unless you want too!!

 

These bikes are mile munches and keep going and going they are great tourier bikes. very comfortable single or two up and this bike has the added bonus of the large top box.

It’s rides very well and holds the road with good all round lights.

The exhausts system may not be every ones cup of tea but it has been fitted properly with the main pipes – power commander and re-mapping along with the O2 filter but you can put back on the original ones if you wish and sell the delkevic system for a good few ?s

This is the cheapest one on e bay by far have a look !!!! and with some nice extras. viewing more than welcome it’s not a new bike and the price reflects that of ?2400

Bad bits

The bike was parked in a back garden through a very tight gate and has scratches on both front panels but as they are black plastic they don’t show to bad but they are they. the camera does not pick them up also a few cracks  on the left rear plastic panel but I have bonded them so are solid.

However the bike comes with a second hand rear seat panel but don’t think the one on their looks that bad now it’s been bonded. I did look into getting another set of panels of e bay for ?300 odd pounds but didn’t think it was worth it and the price reflects the marks around the bike.

Tyres – he has fitted a second hand pair of 10 lap track tyres- this is something I do as they are nice a sticky on the road for the winter and on this bike getting the wheels off to change the tyres is very easy

 That’s it really it ! - a few marks and track tyres but the bike sounds amazing- its rides vary well and is ready to ride away for a bargain price .
