This Honda CBR125has come up for sale here in West Sussex. This is an all round good bike with no work to be done. It has been sitting around unused on a SORN for a while and the MOT test certificate has now expired. The bike is of high quality. not damaged or corroded and with essential new parts fitted ie; tyres battery and spark plug all recently fitted . Good points. Excellent general appearance. The ride is spot on. Good chrome work. There were no advisories in the last MOT test periodGood original paintwork. New Iridium sparking plug. new Continental tyres and a new battery. Electrical items & instruments all working with no warning lights showing. Controls (levers knobs etc) all adjusted correctly. Low general wear and tear & corrosion levels. Included paperwork; HPI print out (all clear). V5 registration document. owner’s manual. service book (not stamped by dealer). invoices for jobs and parts. expired MOT test certificate. Datatag paperwork. Bad PointsService book not stamped. The video also give more detail on points relating to the paperwork and the good & bad points. The Ride. The bike feels spot-on. the wheels and steering feel perfectly aligned and there are no unusual effects in the handling. suspension. cornering or braking. When cold. the engine bursts in to life straight away. There is no smoke. unusual noise or any other sign of any excessive wear. As the motor warms it settles down to a nice slow tick over. When under way on the road the engine has all the power it should have. accelerating through the gears just as it is supposed to. I cannot find any fault with the way the engine performs. Extras security fitted to the bike. The bike has been fitted with Datatag. The system uses hidden markings to make the bike more secure. and attracts an insurance discount (usually 10%). Other. There are no signs of any serious previous accidents in the history or around the bike. There is no mechanical reason why you will not be able to ride this bike away. There are no other visible faults or damage. Because the bike has no current MOT test certificate I would recommend the bike is taken away on a trailer or in a van (just in case). I do not always make comment on items that are supposed to wear or age as part of their normal function on a used motorcycle unless specifically asked. These items can include tyres. brake friction material. drive chain and sprockets. tyres. fork seals and lamp bulbs and anything else that might be affected by wear or age. HPI Provenance Check. The bike has been checked against the HPI database this shows the bike:Has a secure background. Is clear of finance. Is clear of any previous accident insurance pay out. Is not stolen. There are a number of other features in the check that are also included. If you go on to the RAC website you can get the check done yourself (at a cost of ?25) they will also cover you up to ?10. 00. 00 in case of an error. eBay will also do the check for you for ?6. 00.
