rickman honda cb 550

The motorcycle you are bidding on is a race bike only. It has never been registered on the street. I have started it but have never ridden it. and the brakes need to be sorted out. it needs a lot of work to get it rideable. The fairing needs to be mounted also. All this and some minor fabrication work and you will be good. From what the engine sounds like it seems to have been built up. The rev is incredibly fast. There is no title with the bike because it has never been registered. If you want to register it for the street you have to go through the necessary channels. Not sure of the year but its prob early 70s. It is a Rickman Brothers racing Frame with a CB 550 Honda Motor. Painted on the fairing is CB 600. so that makes me think the engine is performance built and bored out to 600cc. This is a super bitchen vintage race bike! This bike was purchased from the Lynn Wineland estate.  Lynn met the Rickman Brothers When he was the official photographer for the International Six Day Trial. (ISDT) in the 60s. They became friends and when the Rickman Brothers closed thier doors Lynn bought a majority of thier stock. (parts and bikes) Not sure of any race history on it though.
