1984 Honda XL250R

 Needs restoration. tarts and runs. urns oil. eaks oil. Has been stored in my garage for the last 8 years. parked it when it begun to burn oil. as used on and off road. ever wrecked or any serious damage. ust some scuffs from bushes and a spill or two off road. I purchased the Honda from the second owner in 2002 with 3800 miles. n original so calif bike. o corrosion of any kind. The Honda sucked a valve at 5800 miles. top end rebuilt by Honda dealer in Palmdale in 2003. an excellent for 3k miles. hen begun to use oil approx year later. as opened up for inspection. othing broken or worn that could be seen. uspect valve guides and/or seals. All new top end parts. iston and rings. in. ylinder. ead with new valves. iming chain. bottom good. rans gears all good ran good when 8 years ago. 84 is complete and mostly still original. has 8588 original miles. verything works good. till has original front tire and seat. rakes and original equipment in good condition. ear tire and drive chain replaced some time ago. Has been serviced. ew oil and filter. lug. rips. leaned air filter element. tarts and runs. eaks oil. urns oil. as going to restore with new seals and gaskets which would make a good bike. ut decided not to because of too many other projects.
