Description

Classic 1971 Honda CB750 Barn Find NO RESERVE!

This bike was purchased new in Japan by a serviceman who was returning stateside from the conflict in Viet Nam. He had it shipped to the west coast and rode it back to Pennsylvania. The odometer indicates 23. 33 miles and the bike was last inspected in 1980. The engine is not running but does turn over freely although the throttle is stuck. The seat is in great condition for it's age and the side covers are excellent and have no cracks. This bike has the original HM 300 exhaust with baffles intact. There are some rust holes in 3 of the pipes. The brakes are free and the bike rolls easily. The gauges look nice but do have some fading and the original plastic chain guard is in excellent condition. The shocks on the bike are not original and the hand rail and the tail light are not correct. The tires are fairly old but they are not dry rotted and do hold air. There are some obvious condition issues such as the road rash on the tank and we have endeavored to show everything of concern in the photos.  Some of the photos were taken last August and we have updated the bars since those pictures were taken. The VIN # is CB750 1119568 on the bike and CB750 E119290 on the motor. The VIN tags on the triple tree of bikes sold in Japan are not imprinted with a number. they simply say "MADE IN JAPAN". We have a clear PA title in our name that is ready for transfer to the new owner.

The bike is located in New Stanton PA near the intersection of I-70 and I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike). Pick up can be arranged on a 24/7 basis and we have a large driveway which will accommodate any size truck or trailer.

If you have any questions contact us by e-mail or call Joe at (724)502-0035. This is a No Reserve Auction so the high bidder gets the bike.

Thanks for looking & good luck Bidding!
