1983 Honda CR125R CR125 AHRMA Vintage Classic Motocross Pro-Link Marty Smith

1983 Honda CR125R. I bought this bike about three years ago from a vintage shop owner. ostensibly for my son to fix up and race. It's been sitting since (shocker!). and the wife says it's time for it to go (along with two 81 YZ250s and an 87 CR250R). For some reason the frame was painted black. but it's definitely an '83. as the head stock label will show (see photo).  Bike has compression. but doesn't run. as I'm sure the carb is plugged with crap. The bike isn't a roach. but it's also not an overly nice example; I'd give it a 5 on a scale of ten. A good place to start for a full-on restoration. or an AHRMA racer. Or. with some parts and TLC. it could be a decent trail/desert bike for a teenager. I could part it out and make more money. but I'm lazy. Thus its appearance here.
