1998 HONDA CBR 600 F BLACK

Honda CBR 600F 1998 - 80249 Miles FOR SALEThis is a genuine sale and I am the registered owner. I am being perfectly honest about the bikes history and condition for the period that i've owned it. I have owned the bike for just under two years. Within this time I have had to replace the fuel pump contacts. regulator rectifier (upgraded). the tyres. chain and sprockets. I have also serviced the bike independently; oil + filter. coolant. air filter. spark plugs and brake fluid. The bike had been knocked off its centre stand whilst in London. this was about half a year ago however I had it inspected for any serious damage; luckily it escaped with cosmetic damage only. There is no CAT D notice for the bike. I noticed no handling differences. It is by no means an immaculate vehicle; it is a 16 year old vehicle and has been ridden around Europe with approriate blemishes to match. Bad points:- Chain and sprockets nearing the end of service life. - Rear tyre wearing low. there is a very minor puncture that lets about about 5psi / week. I have been unable to find the cause. - Exhaust is slightly dented from being knocked over. however this doesnt affect performance or sound in any way. - The right footrest hanger was broken when knocked over. again this hasnt affected the riding position. but could use replacing. - The seat is torn. I have cunningly used duct tape to hide this however I have put a picture of the underlying condition. - The rear left fairing is broken. the was broken before I bought it and has never bothered me in the 2 years. - Minor markings on the lower right sided fairing. again there when I bought the bike. - The left sided cover for the screen bolts vibrated horribly. so I removed it. part still comes with the bike. - Right sided mirror smashed from the drop. I never replaced it. - Sticky throttle. HOWEVER. I have had a great time on this bike. it has started on the button every time (bar the fuel pump issue - resolved) and has ridden smoothly through Europe with no problems. even with a pillion. It has a long service history and lots of documentation to prove this. The Micron Exhaust sounds great. not too loud but better than the original. Unfortunately the original didnt come with the bike when I bought it. It has a ?luggage rail in replacement of the pillion grab rail which is very handy when bungee roping all your equipment down.
