1994 Honda ST-1100

I don't think there is a more dependable bike than the ST 1100.   I recently test rode the new BMW GT 1600. not that I could afford it. I was impressed.   When leaving on my ST 1100 I expected to really be depressed.   I wasn't. yes I only had 100 hp but my engine was as smooth and the ride/handling was only slightly less crisp and no radio. nbsp;as the brand new BMW.

This ST-1100 is a Sweet Ride that runs the canyons and tours 2up!  I'm moving. otherwise I would not sell.   Bought it with ~21k. and has NEVER broken down or give any issues. rock solid dependable for 59K that I've put on it. The Engine runs flawlessly. Only mechanical issue is when I replaced the clutch at 23K. I didn't soak the plates long enough and they Chatter under FULL loaded bike when starting from dead Stop only. No problem or slippage in any gear or power. Mods include KN filter. nbsp; Helli Bar adjustable handlebar risers. Progressive front springs and new fork seals (last season). oversize touring windshield.   1 season on front Mich Road Pilot III and all break pads. and 2seasons on rear Mich Commander II. With 80K it has some scratches. it looks good and cleans up well but this is a bike to ride for another 20k not show. I did go down once on this bike. the bike did much better than me. mirror. and a few scratches That I repaired. Windshield still has a few remains of buffed out scratches. doesn't interfere with view.   The seat has been recovered and cushioning modified. I'm able to ride days in a row without pain.
