Description

1975 Honda CB360 twin. built by me and inspired by the flat trackers and desert racers of the 60's and 70's. Many hours of fab work were put into this machine: custom Aluminum side and front panels. rear subframe modified and shock mounts moved. top loop added for moving the bike around. custom seat. etc etc. It has Renthal handlebars. dual front headlights. mx style levers with One Industries half waffle grips. a Yamaha drum brake front wheel. rebuilt forks which have been shaved. Yamaha R5 throttle and cable. Mikuni VM28 carburetors. UNI foam filters. custom tail light and license plate holder mounted to lower shock mount. Shinko square knob enduro tires. minimal wiring with battery eliminator capacitor. single switch for on/off. kickstart only. custom made exhaust and mufflers that sound very cool. LED tail light. It's custom painted white. red and green in honor of Baja and Mexican desert racing. It's super fun to ride. I went through everything when I built it. and it's pretty bulletproof. as you can see I like to get it dirty. The bad about it: It has a salvage title - I was hit by a car in 2013. the subframe got tweaked a little. and some other things got broke. Being a welder and metal fabricator. I fixed it. and she's solid as a rock again. Also. the carbs were tuned for open exhaust originally. and then I made the mufflers and added length to the exhaust. so it runs a little rich off idle and a lotta rich in the mid range. It's still very rideable as long as you're smooth on the throttle and not snappy with it.   Needs smaller pilots and leaner needle jets and needles.   I ride it almost every day the way it is. I have 4 Yamaha projects I'm working on. so I don't really want to bother with more tuning. Questions. comments. whatever. feel free to message me and I'll be happy to talk to you. Deposit of at least $150 due within 48 hours of end of auction. Buyer to pay any and all shipping costs. I will work with you to help arrange shipping if you are not able to pick it up.   Bike is located in SW New Mexico: Silver City
