This very clean 1980 Honda CB900C Custom 10 speed shaft drive cruiser has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 24465 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the Hi/Lo ratio gear lever & Ignition key. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat. Sadly the seat cover is torn. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The reverse comstarwheels are straight with nice clean discs. calipers & working master cylinders. Forks & yokes are straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank & side panels are solid with just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Slash cut exhaust system is solid. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean ?ˆ“ When we hot wired the ignition. hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. If you require any further information please give us a call or better still visit our showroom and have a good look over the bike for yourself ?ˆ“ after all who are you going to believe me or your own eyes?
