1978 Husqvarna CR 390 Motorcycle, Vintage Motorcycle, Classic

 Offered for sale is another beautiful vintage restoration from the shop of Master Restorer Bill Eley. This one is a 1978 Husqvarna CR 390. As you can see from the photos. the attention to detail is museum quality. If you are looking for the ultimate in a twin shock vintage race bike or just garage eye candy. then this should fill the bill on either account. The frame: ML27052The frame. swing arm and handlebars are powder coated. The following parts are all new: steering head bearings. swing arm bearings. handlebar isolation rubbers. rubber fork stops. gas tank isolation rubbers. front fender. front fender isolation rubbers. rear fender. ear fender splash guard. rear fender isolation rubbers. front and rear side number plates. rear brakelever bushings. rear brake stay rod bushing. swing arm chain protector rubbing block and swing arm chain guide rollers. Front forks: Rebuilt and have air valves on the fork caps. Rear shocks: Original Ohlins  remote reservoir shocks are rebuilt and the springs are powder coated. Wheels:         Disassembled. all blemishes professionally removed and then re-anodized gold. wheels         are trued and laced with stainless steel spokes. New tube rim protectors. tubes and tires with          tire locks to wheels. New wheel bearings and seals. new brake shoes. new 53 tooth rear sprocket. nbsp;        new 13 tooth front sprocket and a new chain. Air Box:             New rubber splash guard. new foam air filter element and a new airbox to carb boot. Seat:              Original silver metal base. new seat foam. new vinyl seat cover. Foam and seat cover            professionally installed. Gas tank:             Tank is aluminum. Painted. hand pin striped and new Husqvarna decals installed. nbsp;             then clear coated. New original style petcock. new original gas cap. Engine:      2061 0318              Bored to 2nd oversize. New Wiseco piston and rings. New wristpin bearing.               Rod big end checked and crank runout checked. New Bearings. seals and gaskets              throughout. Clutch plates not replaced but have little wear. Carb rebuilt.               New PVL ignition coil. New carb to engine boot. Reed valves inspected but not replaced.                engine painted with brake caliper high temp paint. Exhaust:              Original style pipe. Pipe was cut apart and cleaned of carbon. reassembled and painted              with Brake caliper high temp paint. Silencer has been repacked with new 2-stroke               glass fiber mat. Controls:              Original brake and clutch levers. original throttle assembly. New throttle. nbsp;             brake and clutch cables. Original owner's manual included. Terms of Sale:               Bike is sold with bill of sale.
