Hyosung GT650 Comet V-Twin. 2007 '57' Registration.
Has a gearbox fault. Stripped 2nd gear. Easy fix for some people. but beyond my capabilities & shed space!
Bike is definitely worth fixing. looks smart. and before this happened it rode great! They do get great reviews for a reason.
Apart from the gearbox problem it is mechanically good. The bike has done 10. 00 miles. the gearbox breaking was caused by me. not wear and tear. Hand slipped off the clutch as I changed from 1st to 2nd. the timing of that must of been perfect with the revs etc. Crunch. and no more drive in second gear.
Tyres are good. Chain. sprocket. brakes etc. are all good. General condition is good. There's a few of the black painted parts that could do with a touch-up. same with the pillion pegs. I've included clear close-up pictures of this. Tank has faded slightly. Wasn't noticeable at all. until I removed the tank protector. and that part shows as slightly darker. Just stick another on. and it'll be gone again. but I didn't want to hide it from here.
