Description

Here is my Hyosung GT250 comet that is up for auction. I bought this bike to replace my Yamaha cygnus 125 that I use for my daily commute to Gosport which is about 10 miles away. I ride there on the M27 and to be honest my scooter is a bit too slow for it. So I looking for something to replace it and started looking at 125cc motorbikes like a CBR Honda or YBR Yamaha but after reading the reviews It was plain to me that these would not really be up to the job being only 125cc. I wanted a traditional looking bike and found this  Hyosung GT 250 on ebay selling for ?1095 from a dealer. I loved the look of it and after doing some research. bought it and had it delivered. unfortunately I don't own a garage and so I park my scooter on my smallish forecourt and when the Hyosung arrived i tried to get it on my forecourt and nearly gave my self a Hernia! The bike is much heavier than the scooter and its 18" longer! So I have decided to sell it and just get a bigger engined scooter after only 1 months ownership! Here are some facts about the bike:-Hyosung are Korean like Hyundai and Kia and NOT Chinese. The "V" twin engine was designed in Japan but built in Korea as is the rest of the bike except the electrics and carbs which are also Japanese. The bike has a good reliability record and is well liked by Motorcycle news magazine. As I have only owned it for a month I have only ridden it a few times and it seems to ride fine. It has had only one previous owner and he didn't use it very much as it had only 7776 km    (4831 miles) I would say that it is in good condition and looks lovely in red!It has MOT until December 2015 and some service history. I bought it from Blazing motorcycles Keighly and youre more than welcome to talk about the bike with them if you like. I also did an HPI check on it and you can have that as well if you wish. Bad points:- fuel gauge is tempremental and works occasionally which is not a problem really as it has a reserve unlike more modern bikes. have found getting it into neutal difficult on occasion but I have noticed that the gear lever is a bit "sloppy" which can cause this. I have tried to be as honest about my reasons for selling this bike as I can and please ask me any questions about it. I HAVE 687 100% POSITIVE FEED BACK SCORE so place a bid with piece of mind! :0)

I have Just remembered that I only posted the log book off to the DVLA last week so that if the bike sells there maybe a delay in picking it up until the log book is here
